INCI Name: Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer
NM–Carbomer 21 is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylate copolymer,provides high viscosity with short flow properties. It self-wets and disperses quickly in minutes, which remarkably meets formulators’ ease-use need. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency at a wide pH range which makes it a good choice for wide applications. It is ideally suited for use in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, or humectants like Sodium PCA. NM-Carbomer 21 also provides good electrolyte tolerance and unique sensory benefits in formulations. Even at high concentration, NM-Carbomer21 maintains excellent clarity.

Formula Guidelines
l Typical use 0.2 to 1.0 wt%
l Sprinkle polymer on surface of water and allow to self- wet
l Agitation must be processed gently
l Pre- or post-neutralization is workable, depending on application
